
As we move into Autumn and colder, darker, cosy evenings, join me for our Autumn Day retreat.
Movement - deep stretches, dynamic flow, longer holds and letting go, the day offers a whole range when it comes to moving our bodies. The day will start more dynamically and wind down as time passes. There are always adjustments and alternatives offered where needed, this is about you listening in to your body and giving it what it needs.
Mindfulness - opportunities to connect with your surroundings, your body, your breath and your mind in a calm and considered manner using unattached awareness.
Journaling - following some guided prompts, using the quietness and stillness of the day to reflect and listen in.
Nidra - a guided meditation, 'nidra' meaning 'sleep'. Wrapped up in your blanket you'll be guided to the liminal state between wakefulness and sleep - a place of deep, deep rest.
Breathwork - 'Pranayama' - prana meaning life force and ayama meaning control or extension. With the breath we can change the energy within our bodies, for example using it to find calm or using it to energise ourselves. We will use some pranayama to feel grounded and calm.
Delicious vegan food will be provided and there will be an opportunity to go for a walk in the beautiful surroundings at lunch time.
If you book and then can't make it please allow at least a week's notice so I can try to fill the space. After this time period you will not be offered a refund.
